Looking for a friend to support you along your homeschooling journey? Would you like to understand and support your child's unique emotional, social and educational needs better? Would you like help in identifying their unique learning style so that you will know how to teach them in the way they best understand? Many of us have struggled to homeschool our children. Through coaching and assessments you will learn both you and your child's communication/learning style and inherent modality, this information can make all the difference in being able to deliver instruction to your child, not only in the way they will best understand, but in a way that makes learning enjoyable. Through raising and homeschooling my highly sensitive and creative daughter, I learned the hard way that the reason she was not enjoying or excelling in school was because I was teaching her in a way that made sense to me, but she did not understand. After learning through assessment both of our communication styles, I was able to identify what I was doing wrong and to start presenting information to her in a way she could understand, her own unique learning style. Through coaching and associated assessments, you can also identify emotional and sensory sensitivities that may be affecting your child's learning. You can also learn to be your child's emotional coach, along with learning yourself and learning to teach emotional intelligence. This can help you and your child to identify, understand, and cope with intense emotions which may affect learning, behaviors, self esteem, self regulation, family peace and more. I am a passionate supporter of positive and proactive parenting as an answer to better understanding and improving communication and cooperation within families. Coaching can help you to gain new tools, insight, and inspiration, to move you forward toward accomplishing all of your homeschooling and parental goals and dreams.
